British Insurance Awards
We are delighted to be named as a British Insurance Award finalist for โThe Technology Awardโ alongside our client Lycetts Insurance Brokers. We also delighted to see so many Recorder clients nominated in other categories. Best of luck to all the nominees. See you at the Royal Albert Hall on the 8th of July!

April Recap:
Risk Capture Forms Redesign
We've redesigned our risk capture forms to make long question sets easier to complete in a collaborative manner. Brokers and customers can now move freely between sections and save as they go rather than working through them linearly. This is useful when answers come in out of order, or when something needs revisiting before submission. As with every Recorder risk capture form, data enrichment and mobile responsiveness come as standard. We will be releasing the new forms to customers in the coming weeks.
Delegated Underwriting Authority Enhancements:
Auditable Calculations / History
We have made some enhancements to the calculations flowchart in the underwriting dashboard. This flowchart helps both underwriters and insurers to understand exactly how premium has been calculated. We have also added technical premium and commercial premium to the data model.
We have also introduced a history tab which enables underwriters or capacity providers to view a detailed quote change history for granular audit logging and scheme reviews.

May focus:
New Product API Integrations
We are working on connecting to several new markets via API. This will include professional indemnity, retail, hospitality and trades. We are excited to announce and roll out these integrations to our broking clients in the coming months.
Email submission intake
Broker submissions arriving by email become a ranked, enriched work queue instead of a plain inbox. Each email is classified and matched to a product, attachments are ingested into the proposal form, per-product triage rules score the submission against appetite, and obvious cases - duplicates, out-of-appetite, missing info get auto-actioned. Underwriters open submissions that are already triaged, scored, and pre-populated, so time goes to pricing the risks worth pricing rather than submissions.
CreditSafe Integration
We will be releasing our integration with CreditSafe this month - the integration covers credit risk signals (CCJs, scores, negative information) and director-level data including directorships, negative flags, and appointment history.
