Recorder joins Guidewire Insurtech Vanguards Program
London, May 2026 – Recorder, a modern SaaS platform for insurance intermediaries, announced that the company has joined the Guidewire Insurtech Vanguards program, an initiative led by property and casualty (P&C) cloud platform provider, Guidewire (NYSE: GWRE), to help insurers learn about the newest insurtechs and how to best leverage them.
“The future of insurance will be built on structured data flowing cleanly across the value chain,” said Alex Cardona, CEO at Recorder. “Guidewire has long set the standard for P&C core systems. Recorder focuses on the trading layer - digitised risk capture, delegated authority performance, and product distribution. Being part of the Insurtech Vanguards brings those worlds closer together and accelerates the shift toward a genuinely modern operating model for insurers and intermediaries.”
Insurtech Vanguards is a community of select startups and technology providers that are bringing novel solutions to the P&C industry. As part of the program, Guidewire provides strategic guidance to and advocates for the participating insurtechs, while connecting them with the Guidewire P&C customer community.
“We are thrilled to welcome Recorder to the Insurtech Vanguards program,” said Laura Drabik, Chief Evangelist at Guidewire. “Their platform provides smooth, clean workflows, while their distribution capabilities enable insurers and MGAs to bring detailed, accurate products to market quickly. We’re excited to see how Recorder can help our P&C customers modernise their distribution in a single, flexible platform.”
Recorder’s SaaS platform provides a modern system of work for insurance intermediaries — from digitised risk capture and quote-and-bind journeys to underwriting and bordereaux generation. Insurers and MGAs can distribute existing products through Recorder’s system, with full Terms of Business Agreement (TOBA) management control, and can create fully customisable products using Recorder’s hosted rater.
