2025 Review ⏪ Q1 Roadmap 🛣️ Partnerships 🤝

2025 was a breakout year for Recorder.
Highlights include:
Onboarded dozens of new mid-market brokers 🤝🏻
Signed first few global enterprise broking clients 🌎
10x revenue growth 🚀
7-figure strategic angel investment 💰
Increased FTEs to 18 📈
Appointed product advisory board 🏢
Launched delegated authority product 🖋️
What we did in December:
New Feature: Work Desk
Problem
Brokers and underwriters currently manage quotes and renewals with a mix of Excel logs, clunky CRM workflows, Outlook calendars and memory. These tools don’t reflect live workflow status, rely heavily on vigilance and discipline, and create risk of missed deadlines & poor client service.
Opportunity
Recorder already captures the key workflow events around proposals, quotes, binds, and renewals. By turning those events into structured tasks, and giving users a single view of all outstanding work, Recorder can eliminate fragmented logs, reduce errors, and surface the next best action.
Goals for v1
Give users complete visibility of their assigned work in one queue
Automatically generate tasks from workflow events Recorder already sees
Auto-complete tasks where Recorder can detect the outcome
Allow manual completion, progression, snooze, or dismissal for everything else
Proactively highlight urgent or overdue items without relying on diaries
Provide a live renewal and quote forecast, rolling up from task states

What we are doing in January:
Line Slip Automation
As our client base expands we are seeing growing demand for London market line slip automation. We have commenced the solution design work for providing clients with a seamless mechanism to produce slips without all the manual effort each time. Based on our market research we think the solution we plan to develop is uniquely differentiated to the existing line slip software solutions in the market. Watch this space!
Professional Indemnity quote & bind API development
We will be commencing integration work on our first professional indemnity APIs this month. We are keen to engage with any insurers and MGAs interested in expanding their digital trading footprint within PI.
Partnerships
Broker Insights
Recorder is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Broker Insights, the leading provider of data analytics and market insights for the commercial insurance sector. This collaboration will deliver powerful new end-to-end, data-driven solutions for Broker Insights customers. The strategic partnership with Recorder accelerates product delivery, combining complimentary capabilities to deliver innovative solutions that unlock new growth opportunities through enhanced data-driven insights and streamlined workflows.
Broker Insights CEO, Peter Scott, is excited for what the agreement means for brokers and insurers: “Recorder are an innovative, technology-leading business, and our capabilities complement each other perfectly. Their collaborative, ‘can-do’ approach has enabled us to accelerate the creation of a new product and bring it to market faster than we could have achieved alone. We’re excited to see how this partnership will drive further innovation and deliver even greater value to our customers in the future.”
This partnership reflects a shared dedication to empowering brokers and insurers with streamlined solutions that enhance efficiency, and create new opportunities for growth.
MGAA
Recorder joined the MGAA as a supplier member in December. Participating in the MGAA community came strongly recommended by the CEO of one of our technology platform peers. In 2025 we launched our delegated authority product and we have been receiving exceptional feedback from our first cohort of clients. As a result we will be ramping up our go-to-market efforts in 2026 with the MGAA events being a key focus area for networking and promotion of this capability.
We are also keen to network with MGAA members and their technology partners to expand coverage of quote and bind API connectivity for open market broking.
We also just had our first article published to the community:
Thanks for the warm welcome Michael Keating and team.
